MISSION STATEMENT
P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc. is called of God to reach the spiritually and emotionally wounded within the leadership of the body of Christ. Our purpose is to go to those in the pastoral and missionary ministries who are in need of spiritual and emotional support. It is our endeavor to offer this support in the love of Christ Jesus who says, "Whoever believes in Me, streams of Living Water will flow from within him."
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We unapologetically hold to the primary tenets of the Christian Church through the ages, including:
1. The Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God
2. The existence of one God in three persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
3. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, His virgin birth, His crucifixion, and His resurrection from the dead
4. The fallenness of humanity
5. The need for repentance and faith for salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ
6. The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit
7. The universal Church made up of all believers throughout all of time
8. The final judgement of the righteous and wicked when Jesus returns to establish His earthly Kingdom
What or Who is P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc.?
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
What or who is P.U.M.P. Ministries Inc. is a question quite
frequently asked. Do you drill wells or provide fresh water in Third World
countries? Well, please let me explain. Yes, we have dug wells to provide water
and we have sought to provide healthy water sources in Africa and in Central
America. But, we seek to do so much more than just that. Our main goal is to assist the churches, pastors and missionaries around the world. P.U.M.P. Ministries started as a calling to Pastor Unto Missionaries and Pastors. This was to be done through teaching, counseling, preaching and traveling to where the needs were around the world. As with any ministry or calling we were not totally aware of what all God had in store for the
ministry when we first started in 1997. The ministry now, is established here in the
USA and Africa. There are field directors located in
Africa with their own Board of Directors and
description of their callings and visions. This Board of Directors report to
the Board of Directors here in the USA. The whole of the ministry is now made up
of bible schools, Pastors and missionaries seeking to follow the
leading of the Holy Spirit with the understanding we still stay Biblically based and
seeking to build up the Body of Jesus Christ our Lord. We will continue to grow as
a ministry as we faithfully seek to be led by the Holy Spirit.
Areas for future growth will come through the training of missionaries and
pastors in the Bible schools, retreats and seminars. Another area we are excited
about is the use of the internet to offer teachings material, virtual
communications and new ministries which are on the drawing board. The Lord
willing and Jesus tarries P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc. is setting up to see God do great
things around the world as we all do our part!
