Who We Are

Mission Statement

Beliefs
P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc. is an independent, inter-denominational misson ministry which is financed through "love gifts" of its friends and supporters. God birthed the idea for P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc. within the hearts of Reverend Richard and Tammy Weagraff in 1997. Supported by a board of directors, they bring with them many years of experience serving God through pastoring, counseling, and teaching. Rev. Weagraff holds a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree from Transylvania Bible College and is a licensed pastoral counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association.
P.U.M.P. Ministries, Inc. is called of God to reach the spiritually and emotionally wounded within the leadership of the body of Christ. Our purpose is to go to those in the pastoral and missionary ministries who are in need of spiritual and emotional support. It is our endeavor to offer this support in the love of Christ Jesus who says, "Whoever believes in Me, streams of Living Water will flow from within him."
We unapologetically hold to the primary tenets of the Christian Church through the ages, including:The Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoratative Word of GodThe existence of one God in three persons of Father, Son, and Holy SpiritJesus Christ, the Son of God, His virgin birth, His crucifixion, and His resurrection from the deadThe fallenness of humanityThe need for repentance and faith for salvation through the blood of Jesus ChristThe sanctifying power of the Holy SpiritThe universal Church made up of all believers throughout all of timeThe final judgement of the righteous and wicked when Jesus returns to establish His earthly Kingdom

1-13-12: NAME THAT BIBLE COLLEGE! We are still running the contest to name our Bible college in Kenya. The deadline for idea submission is February 1, 2012. Send us your suggestion through the "Contact" tab or by visiting our facebook page and you could win a prize from P.U.M.P. Ministries.1-12-12: P.U.M.P. FUNDRAISER! We are having a fund raiser on February 11, 2012 at Family Fellowship Chapel in Mt. Airy, NC. All money raised will go towards our work in Kenya, materials for pastors, feeding our kids at the Tammy Weagraff Orphanage and Academy, and traveling expenses for Pastor Dick's upcoming trip to Africa. We have good food and fun activities planned. For those of you who can not attend the fundraiser, you can help by clicking on the "How You Can Help" tab above. Thanks for the love and support. More details coming soon!12-25-11: MERRY CHRISTMAS! We hope everyone is enjoying Christmas with family and friends. We love you all, and as a gift to you we have a new video for you to enjoy. We have the first "Pastor Dick's Quick Hits" lesson up and ready to go. In this first session he discusses the prodigal son. As you can see we have been working very hard to update the website appearance as well as the website content. Beyond the new easy to navigate design, we now have a video page that you will be able to find video updates on the ministry as well as "Pastor Dick's Quick Hits" Bible lessons. Please feel free to comment on the videos and respond with your own videos. Ask questions, make suggestions, or provide your own testimonies and prayer requests. We really hope that the new site will increase the interaction between us and our family around the world. Enjoy!11-12-11: NAME THAT BIBLE COLLEGE! As previously mentioned, we have started a Bible college in Kenya. We are currently trying to come up with a name for the college. That is where you come in. We are running a contest from now until January 1, 2012. Send us your ideas for the college name, we will pick one winner, and we will send a prize your way. So head over to our facebook page and give us some ideas.11-10-11: KENYAN ORPHANAGE AND BIBLE COLLEGE! We are currently working to fund a children's orphanage that houses 27 children. We are looking for monetary donations as well as school supplies such as computers, markers, paper, books, etc. Additionally, P.M. has started a Bible college that already has an enrollment of 60+ pastors. This is a big undertaking that includes a building fund and a need for computers and materials. If you would like to help with either a money donation or a material donation please contact us.
